Our new field type ‘Inline Text’ allows you to add fillable fields to free text.
For example, a client agreement or contract is usually a template with some variable fields.
To add inline text to your form you will need to go to the Form Manager > Click on the cog next to the form > Click on 'Form Builder'.
Add the inline text field to the form and give it a name.
In the 'text to display' box enter the text you want to display and include the placeholders.
You will need to use the format: {reference:Placeholder Text}. This will place a textfield in this position within your text, the reference must be unique within this field and contain no special characters (you cannot add two fields within this text with the same reference).
Example: Your name is {yourname:Your Name} and you are {age:Age} years old.
Once you’re finished click on Add Field / Save Changes.
