Import Apprentice Profiles

Import Apprentice Profiles

This video will show you how to import apprentice profile information to auto-populate web user forms.

Firstly go to 'User Manager' > Click 'Import Users' > Select 'Apprentice' from the dropdown and download the sample csv.

You will need to enter the apprentice’s information into the csv and the mandatory fields are: First Name, Last Name and Email - without these the apprentice’s profile won’t be imported.

There are many fields on the csv - simply fill out the ones you want to import and leave the rest blank. There is no need to remove them from the csv.

You can import as many users as you like, simply add a row for each one.

When you’re ready download the csv then go back to iPEGS and select the file to upload.

Click on 'Import', ensure you read the message displayed and then click on ‘Ok’ if you would like to continue.

Then you can assign the users to a group (or you can do this at a later stage).

Select ‘Send welcome email’ and the users will receive an email with a link to set their own password. They will need to use this password to log in when a form is sent to them to complete.

You can also use this function to update existing users.

Click on 'Import' and wait for the bar to turn green - this can sometimes take a few minutes, depending on the amount of data you are importing.
