Form fields can be set to mandatory or optional, depending on your requirements.
To check the mandatory field settings you will need to go to Form Manager > Click on the cog next to the form > Form Builder > Click on ‘Edit’ next to a field > Mandatory settings. Here you can select the mandatory setting of the field.
Settings:
Optional - This field will be optional and can be left blank.
Warning - The user is warned that they have missed a field but can still submit the form.
Read Only - The field will appear on the form but cannot be edited.
Mandatory - The form cannot be submitted if a mandatory field has been left blank.
Mandatory Third Party - Fields can be set to mandatory for a specific third party.
(Note: If you select 'Mandatory Third Party' you will need to click 'save' and then click on 'edit' next to the field again to select the third party from the dropdown)
